Ironman

PUMA Ironman, the model number is 12 6490. The handles were made from desert ironwood. This model was 1st in the series of Puma fighting models. There were only 200 made by PUMA. Each knife was individually serial numbered. This knife is serial number 115.

This fine PUMA Ironwood knife has a fixed blade and is a full tang knife. This knife measures 11 1/2" overall with a 6" blade. The handle is genuine desert ironwood which is very strong.  The handle has two silver pins with lanyard hole through the handle. This is a super sharp knife!

The finger guard and pommel are made from German polished silver. The finger has a silver inlaid PUMA shield on both sides. This PUMA knife was designed by German knife maker, Richard Henn, and only 200 were hand made by PUMA Werks in Solingen, Germany. 

It's a solid fighter knife with a strong heavy duty metal handle and has a double hollow ground 154CM aircraft grade steel blade. Boeing uses the same type of steel in ball bearings in their jet engines. The sheath has a built in security mechanism. A snap button pin that clicks directly into a hole in the handle.

This fine German hunting knife also has the factory Rockwell sticker. The blade is etched: 12 6490 HANDMADE - PUMA IRONWOOD - SOLINGEN GERMANY. 

This knife came with a genuine tan leather sheath. The knife and sheath came in a wood presentation box with a certificate of authenticity.
