Jagdnicker - Small / Large

PUMA Jagdnicker Kliener - Nicker Small, the model number is 11 3587. The handles are made from genuine stag. PUMA made two models, one was a small model. The other model was larger.

These PUMA models had model numbers 11 3587 - kleiner jagdnicker - small hunting knife, 11 3588 1/2 - knife from the waidbesteck two knife set, and 11 3589 - gross jagdnicker - large hunting knife.

Walter Frevert  ( 1897-1962 ) is the father for the design of these PUMA models. He is a well known German hunter and forester. The PUMA Jagdnicker models are very popular European hunting knives. The Jagdnicker, which was created with the help of Walter Frevert, is one of the most popular knives among hunters and there have been quite a few different designs since their introduction in the mid-1950s.

The Puma Jagdnicker models are:

1) Jagdnicker Klenier > Jagdnicker Small > 11 3587 > Stag > 17381 > 1st half of 1983.

2) Jagdnicker Klenier > Jagdnicker Small > 11 3587 > Stag > 26291 > 1st half of 1992.

3) Jagdnicker Waidbesteck > 11 3588 1/2 > Stag

4) Jagdnicker Gross > Jagdnicker Large > 11 3589 > Stag > 18481 > 1st half of 1984.

5) Jagdnicker Gross > Jagdnicker Large > 11 3589 > Stag > 51592 > 2nd half of 1995.
