PUMA Mariner, the model number is 17 6362. The handle is red textured rubber for a firm grip when wet. The guarantee control number is 47192. This indicates this knife was hand made n Solingen, Germany in the 2nd half of 1991.

The blade is stainless steel and the handles are red rubber for a good grip in the water. This knife measures 10" overall with a 6 3/4" blade. The front of the hunting blade is etched: 17 6362   HANDMADE - PUMA MARINER - GERMANY STAINLESS. 

The knife has the genuine "PUMA Proof Mark" on the blade: a small dot or ping on each blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. The Rockwell sticker is also still on the knife.

The Puma knife came with a genuine leather sheath in the factory green and yellow box with the PUMA gold guarantee control tag. It also came with the factory papers.
