Trapper

PUMA Trapper, the model number is 12 4005. The knife was made in 1991 at PUMA Werks. This model has handles made from Thyua. The wood, known as thymus wood, citron wood, and alerce, and historically also known as thyine wood is used for decorative woodwork, particularly wood from burls at the base of the trunk.

Thuya wood is commonly seen as a cross between walnut and maple, with similar burrs. It is prized for its strength, smoothness and wonderful aroma.
