Treiberwehr

PUMA Treiberwehr, the model number is 6380. The handle is made from genuine stag. The Treiberwehr is one of the most rare PUMA knives. The word “Treiberwehr” is found in the old German language.  It describes a type of hunting still in use today. The English translation of Treiberwehr is ” A Group of Drivers” and is a common form of hunting in Europe.  This style of hunting requires a group of people to drive game to waiting hunters by pushing them in  a certain direction.

The Treiberwehr was only sold in Europe for a very short period of time in 1976. This model is patterned after the famous White Hunter knife design. The Treiberwehr is a highly prized model for the knife collector. PUMA gave this knife its own model number, 6380, and it also has its own guarantee control number, 1467. No other PUMA model uses this number.

I am currently chasing this PUMA model.
