Zerlegbar - Take-A-Part Knife

PUMA Zerlegbar / Take-A-Part Knife, the model number is 999. The handles are genuine stag. This is the only model PUMA has made that can be taken apart for cleaning. This PUMA model is considered to be one of the most rare folding hunters along with the 947 Jadgmesser für Gams.

PUMA made two versions, one was for the German market, while the other one was for the American market. This model had two blades. There was an option to order a saw blade or a gutting blade. The cutting blade is 4” long and was made from a drop forged special stainless steel to obtain the best edge holding capabilities.

The knife edge was hand-ground fine and thin for precise cutting, slicing, skiing, and cleaning game in the field. The saw blade was equipped with a screwdriver tip and a bottle cap opener.
